The President of the United States of America Donald Trump congratulated Alabama football’s graduating players Thursday during his commencement speech.
Trump shined a spotlight on the players graduating and recognized the impact Alabama has had on college football.
“I would like to recognize the 11 graduating seniors on the University of Alabama football team,” Trump said. “Where may they be? Where are they? You just have to look and they’re about a foot taller than everybody else…There is something truly special about the players, coaches and the fans, who pack the stands at Bryant-Denny Stadium and proudly sing Dixieland Delight. We like that. Alabama has changed college football forever and inscribed into the history books the names of Bear Bryant, Joe Namath, four Heisman Trophy winners, and of course, the great Nick Saban.”
Saban introduced Trump during the commencement.
