CBS Sports’ Brad Crawford ranked Ty Simpson among the top quarterbacks in the SEC post-spring.
Simpson is a former five-star quarterback out of Martin, Tennessee, and he is considered to be the front-runner in Alabama football’s open quarterback competition. Crawford has Simpson ranked at No. 10 among the top quarterbacks in the conference.
LSU’s quarterback, Garrett Nussmeier is ranked at No.1 on Crawford’s list. Arch Manning (Texas), LaNorris Sellers (South Carolina), DJ Lagway (Florida) and John Mateer (Oklahoma) round out Crawford’s top five.
Simpson is expected to have all his focus locked in on becoming QB1 in Tuscaloosa this fall.
