WATCH: Multiple Alabama defensive players put in off-season work with prominent Birmingham trainer

Mar 6, 2024; Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA; Defensive back Red Morgan works in a drill during practice for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team Wednesday.

Alabama players have already begun to put in work this offseason. In a video posted to X, Red Morgan, Jeremiah Beaman, and Kelby Collins were seen working out with a prominent trainer from the Birmingham area, Leonard Stephens.

The three players are expected to play key roles on the defensive side of the ball for the Crimson Tide during the 2025 season.

Morgan played in 12 games as a true freshman. He saw some time at defensive back as well as on special teams. The Alabama native finished the season with eight total tackles.

Beaman played in three games during his true freshman season in 2024. The Birmingham native tallied two tackles and a quarterback hurry in limited playing time. Beaman is expected to see more playing time as a redshirt freshman.

Collins transferred to Alabama this offseason from Florida. The former four-star prospect spent two seasons in Gainesville tallying 29 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. Collins will add valuable depth to Alabama’s defensive line for the 2025 season.
