Nick Saban is expected to be the co-chair of the Presidential Commission on college sports, per The Athletics’ Sam Khan Jr.

Khan also reported Saban will be joined by a ‘prominent businessman with deep ties to college athletics.’

Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger reported President Donald Trump was creating a presidential commission on college athletics earlier this week. The commission is reportedly going to be tasked with solving issues ‘issues ailing the ecosystem.’

This development comes after Saban and Trump met in Tuscaloosa. The Wall Street Journal revealed  Trump and his administration were considering an executive order aimed at increasing ‘scrutiny of the explosion in payments to college athletes’ after the meeting.

The future of college athletics looks a bit distorted at the moment, and it looks as if Saban will be a major part of helping clear things up.
