The Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles will square off on Thursday, Sept. 4 to kick off the 2025 football season, and a pair of former Alabama players will suit up as rookies in the matchup.
Jihaad Campbell and Tyler Booker both suited up for the Crimson Tide last year and were both selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Booker came off the board first at No. 12 to the Cowboys. The Eagles selected Campbell as the No. 31 overall pick.
Booker will be tabbed with replacing Cowboys’ legend, Zack Martin, along the Dallas’ offensive front.
Campbell will be joining one of the best defenses in the NFL and the reigning Super Bowl champions. His role in year one will be very interesting as he looks to get back to 100 percent after shoulder surgery.
