Florida State’s expected starting quarterback Thomas Castellanos is disappointed in the time slot for Alabama vs. Florida State on Aug. 30.
The Seminoles and the Crimson Tide’s matchup is set to kick off at 2:30 CST, and the game will be broadcast on ABC.
“lol no prime time is crazy but bet,” Castellanos posted to X.

Castellanos transferred to Florida State from Boston College after the 2024 season. Alabama’s defensive coordinator Kane Wommack recently talked about the challenge he will present as a dual-threat quarterback.
“You look at our first game of the season against Florida State,” Wommack told reporters at the Mobile Sports Hall of Fame Induction Banquet. “Athletic quarterback. I played for Gus Malzahn. I know how Gus does things from a from a quarterback-run game. Mike Norvell does the same thing. So those are the things that you kind of have to be aware of that everybody has an element to that in their game.”
