Alabama visits priority 4-Star LB target in Maryland

Alabama football’s linebacker coach, Chuck Morrell checked in on Nick Abrams and his family in Maryland on Wednesday.

Abrams is a 2026 four-star linebacker out of McDonogh High School in Owings Mills, Maryland. He is currently considering Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and Oregon. Each program will get him on campus for an official visit in the near future.

The four-star recently expressed excitement about visiting the Tide.

“Really getting to spend time with the players, seeing the people I will be around, and getting to know them as well,” Abrams told Touchdown Alabama when asked what he is looking forward to learning on his official visit. “I will also be looking at whether I would still be interested in Alabama if football was not in the picture. Another big thing for me is envisioning myself at the school and in the environment. Can I thrive there and become an even better version of myself.”

The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder is a long linebacker with the ability to play in space and make effective open-field tackles. He appears to have the skillset many college coaches are looking for when recruiting linebackers in the current college football landscape, given his athletic ability.
