Ezavier Crowell has confirmed a June 26th commitment date.
Crowell attends Jackson High School in Alabama, and he is a 2026 five-star running back prospect. He will choose between Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia and Texas.
The Crimson Tide’s DeBoer staff has been recruiting Crowell for what seems like more than a year. They will get him on campus on the weekend of June 20 for an official visit.
“Growing up, used to watch them a lot,” Crowell said. “It is definitely a top school for me. I see myself playing in Crimson soon. But it comes down to how they would develop me as a person, player and everything else.”
Auburn is also in a good position with Crowell. They will also host him in June for an official.
“Auburn is a good school,” Said Crowell. “I love coach (Hugh) Freeze, coach (Derrick) Nix, and they are pushing hard to recruit me. We will see what the outcome brings.”
Florida jumped into Crowell’s recruitment with a strong spring visit.
“When I went down, it was just coach Napier talking about I could come there and just be the next Gator to make things pop. Coach (Jabbar) Juluke, I just love his personality, the things he does with his backs and everything else.”
Texas was not considered a top school for Crowell after Tashard choice departed from the program. Fortunately for the Longhorns, Chad Scott took up the reigns and got Crowell to stick with his plans to officially visit them.
“Texas just been pushing for me since day one,” Crowell said. “Form the departure coach Tashard Choice, Chad Scott stepped up. He was the first one to call me. He made me set the official visit back up and then just going this month on March 27 to the 29th, just to meet him finally in person, just see what he does up there with Texas with his backs.”
All eyes will be on Crowell next month.
