EA Sports is set to drop another edition of the EA College Football video game this summer.

The iconic franchise returned in 2024 after a decade-long hiatus. At the time of release, center Parker Brailsford and defensive back Malachi Moore received the highest rating on Alabama’s roster with a 92 overall rating.

Here is a list predicting who the Crimson Tide’s top 10 highest-rated players will be in EA College Football 26.

  1. Kaydn Proctor, LT – 96 overall

Proctor made huge strides in his sophomore season as the blindside protector after taking his lumps as a true freshman. EA often shows love offensive linemen, so expect a massive overall increase for Proctor.

  1. Parker Brailsford, C – 95 overall

EA was extremely high on Brailsford last season, giving him the highest rating on the team before he took a snap in a crimson jersey. Brailsford came in from Washington and opened up things in the run game while having efficient snaps. Expect his rating to be near the mid 90’s this year.

  1. Ryan Williams, WR – 94 overall

Williams generated numerous viral moments in his freshman season, including his iconic game-winning touchdown against Georgia. There’s no doubt that Williams will jump further into the 90 overall range after catching 48 passes for 865 yards and 8 touchdowns.

The 18-year-old sophomore could reach 99 overall at some point in his career. EA adjusts ratings as the season progresses, so 94 overall is a solid starting point for Williams as he enters season 2 with the Crimson Tide.

  1. Deontae Lawson, LB – 92 overall

Despite playing in only 10 full games last year, Lawson finished with 72 tackles, the second-most on the team.

This rating is two overalls higher than what he received last year, and he could potentially jump into the mid 90’s depending on how he returns from his season-ending injury.

  1. Germie Bernard, WR – 91 overall

Bernard created a lot of separation between himself and the other wide receivers besides Williams. He caught 50 passes for 794 yards and 2 touchdowns, averaging 15.9 yards a catch.

He will more than likely leap into the 90’s but be a few overalls behind Williams.

  1. Domani Jackson, CB – 91 overall

Jackson is one of the best corners in the country. He had a terrific 2024 season with Alabama, locking down the SEC’s pass catchers.

EA had him as an 86 overall at the start of last summer, so expect his rating to leap into the 90’s after he collected 51 tackles, knocked down seven passes and caught 2 interceptions.

  1. LT Overton, DL – 90 overall

Overton enters his senior season as the frontrunner to take the most snaps at the “bandit” position. He had 42 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, and a forced fumble in 2024. He’s expected to take an even larger leap in 2025.

His 2024 season may be enough to convince EA to bump his rating up to 90 or above, but for now, the prediction is a 90.

  1. Tim Keenan II, DL – 90 overall

Keenan is the juice of Alabama’s interior defensive line. EA tends to also show love to defensive linemen that are strong in stature but athletically gifted to move fast and ruin plays. Expect Keenan will be at least a 90 overall.

  1. Keon Sabb, S – 89 overall

Last season, Sabb was a ball hawk in the seven games he got to play before suffering an injury. He intercepted two passes and knocked down four. He also flew around the field, collecting 39 tackles.

EA loves giving gamers solid players to click on and use when using nickel or dime packages, so Sabb could be in the upper 80’s or low 90’s based on what EA made of the seven games he played in.

  1. Ty Simpson, QB – 87 overall

This rating may seem a bit generous for a quarterback who has not been named the starter, but keep in mind that EA gave Simpson an 83 overall last year as a backup.

Simpson has the best odds of becoming the starter this year, and former Alabama football coach Nick Saban told reporters as his Nick’s Kids Foundation golf tournament that Simpson has developed and matured a lot in the last few years.

Alabama was one of the most selected teams in EA College Football 25, so EA could give whoever the starter is at least an 83 overall rating or above so that the Crimson Tide will continue to be an attractive choice for gamers.

EA College Football 26 is set to be released on July 10 and will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
