Tristen Keys was set to officially visit Alabama football this week, but he was told not to come.

Keys is a five-star 2026 recruit and is considered the No. 1 wide receiver in the country. He is currently committed to LSU.

The Mississippi product confirmed he did not cancel his own official visit to Alabama via X after reports of him no longer visiting Alabama surfaced.

“All of this is false. I (Tristen Keys) did not cancel the OV. I got a call after a training session to not come this week. My bags were packed already. Respectfully,” Keys posted.

Keys has previously spoken highly of the Alabama football program.

“They produce a lot of great receivers, and it’s a lot of WRUs, but I feel like that’s one of them,” Keys told Touchdown Alabama. “They have produced a lot of first-round receivers.”
