Ty Simpson launched an impressive deep pass Saturday while participating in the Manning Passing Academy.
The throw got quite the reaction from those in attendance and even got the approval of NFL Hall of Famer, Peyton Manning, as he looked on.

Simpson is currently competing to be the Crimson Tide’s next starting quarterback.
The former five-star recently told reporters what he plans to bring to the table for the Crimson Tide in 2025 if he was to win the battle.
“I feel like I’m gonna be tough, I’m gonna be accurate, I’m gonna make sure that we give our offense the best chance to win in any situation,” Simpson said. “I feel like I’ve waited my turn, and I’ve learned a lot from those guys, and I understand with my dad being a coach, I’ve got a mind for football. I’m just excited to be able to play for the university I love, in front of the people that love and with the people I love.”
