The chatter around Alabama football continues to stack after their 31-17 lost at the hands of Florida State on the road in Tallahassee on Saturday afternoon.

The latest to take a stab at the Tide is former Texas A&M Aggies quarterback, Johnny Manziel. The Heisman trophy winner didn’t mince words when letting it be known that nobody fears going up against Alabama anymore and that intimidating ways are far behind them as a program.

“In the past, you walk in and face an Alabama team you probably got a little fear,” Manziel said late Saturday evening while joining Shannon Sharpe & Chad Johnson’s “The Night Cap Show” podcast. “This ‘Bama, the team that’s been a dynasty.. you’ve got a little fear. But that fear aspect of what Alabama used to be is, is completely gone. And nobody’s scared of them boys, not Vandy (Vanderbilt), not Kentucky, not nobody. Nobody’s walking in and seeing Alabama on the schedule and having any kinda shake, any kinda fear, nothing. They’ve been getting whipped the last couple years.”

Alabama football will look to put their early season shortcomings behind them when they take the field before they suit up next for their home opener on Saban-Field at Bryant Denny-Stadium against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks, September 6.
