The players on Alabama football’s roster have taken matters into their own hands since falling flat on their faces in Tallahassee in their 31-17 loss to Florida State.
No player in the Crimson Tide locker room came away impressed with the effort the Tide put out on the gridiron on either side of the ball to open the 2025 season.

Alabama players took it upon themselves to address these issues by holding a player-only meeting. One of the top voices in the meetings was senior wide receiver Germie Bernard, who gave insight about how those talks went while meeting with reporters after practice on Tuesday.
