Key Analysis: Alabama football’s effort against Florida State has placed more eyeballs on this one than what would have typically been on this on this matchup if Alabama was triumphant on last week. The Crimson Tide have faced scrutiny from a lot of different fronts this week after starting the season 0-1 with a subpar performance against the Seminoles. Alabama needs to answer a lot of questions in this one. Everything the Crimson Tide wants to accomplish this season remains within its grasp, but they must use this moment to bounce back.
Prediction: Alabama: 48 ULM: 14

Key Analysis: Alabama football is looking to redeem themselves after playing below their standard and getting embarrassed in week 1. Expect the Tide defense to lead the charge early on against ULM by playing with increased energy & effort. This means putting immense pressure on Warhawks quarterback Aidan Armenta and keeping defensive containment by not allowing him to use mobility to extend plays. This should result in turnovers and short fields. Offensively, expect other Tide receivers to step up in the wake of Ryan Williams absence as Ty Simpson looks to continue to integrate himself within the Alabama offense by continuing to build a rapport with Tide receivers Germie Bernard, Isaiah Horton, and others. Lastly, expect a more consistent dose of the run game from Richard Young, Daniel Hill, Dre Washington, and Kevin Riley.
Prediction: Alabama: 48Ā ULM: 6

Key Analysis: Alabamaās loss against Florida State was one of the worst performances a Crimson Tide team has had in the last two decades, but Alabama has an opportunity to put that loss behind them with a win tonight. ULM is next on the schedule, and this is a game where reps are crucial for quarterback Ty Simpson, regardless of what the scoreboard reads. It should be a confidence-building day for Simpson, getting him quick throws to receivers and letting the ball fly without bailing from the pocket too early. There is another area the Crimson Tide needs answers in, and it is the run game. Can Alabamaās linemen get movement up front, and which running back will separate themselves from the rest? Kevin Riley looked like the best rusher for Alabama in week one, but the rest of the running back room will have equal chances to make plays if Alabama avoids having to play from behind in this one. It would be time to have some extremely uncomfortable conversations if Alabama does not win this game convincingly. A
Prediction: Alabama: 38 ULM: 10
