Kane Wommack is encouraged by what he has seen so far out of the interior defensive lineman who have stepped for Alabama football’s defense in the wake of injuries early in the 2025 regular season.
The Crimson Tide were bit by a series of injuries on their defensive front. Tim Kennan III was the first to go down with an injury before the Tide’s first game. His primary backup Jeremiah Beaman suffered a lower-body injury in practice as the Tide prepared for Louisiana-Monroe.
Since then, Wommack and the Tide’s defensive staff have had to reach deeper in their toolboxes to find players to fill a hole in their defensive front.
