Alabama football will start Jay Lindsey at tight end for the first time in his career.
Lindsey is a former three-star recruit out of Patrician Academy of Butler, Alabama. He is currently a redshirt freshman and is listed at 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds.
The Alabama native has not pulled in a reception this season, but he has been on the field quite a bit.
Lindsey wears the No. 88 jersey.
