Alabama football is currently an underdog ahead of the Crimson Tide traveling to take on Georgia after their BYE week.

The Bulldogs are a 3.5-point favorite against Alabama ahead of their highly anticipated matchup, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The Tide’s starting safety, Bray Hubbard says the Tide is looking forward to playing the role of a spoiler as an underdog.

“We love it,” Hubbard told reporters on Thursday. “We love a good challenge. They’re a top-five team in the country for a reason. It’s a challenge. I mean, every week in the SEC is going to be a challenge. They’re just the next one up. So, it’s time to go over there and face a good team and bring our A game.”

The Crimson Tide were an underdog against Georgia last season at home before they picked up a win over the Bulldogs. Georgia has, in fact, been favored to beat Alabama in every game they played since 2020.

Alabama and Georgia will go to battle next Saturday with the kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. CST.
