Alabama football’s 30-14 win over Vanderbilt was not taken well by Heisman Trophy winner, Johnny Manziel, and Vanderbilt’s starting quarterback Diego Pavia.
As the fourth quarter wound down, Manziel had some back-and-forth with Alabama fans near the Vanderbilt sideline. He struck the Heisman pose as a comeback to something that was yelled at him, and he flashed both of his middle fingers in the direction of Tide fans before turning away.

Manziel was on Vanderbilt’s sideline for this ranked SEC clash, and he sported a Pavia jersey in support of the senior quarterback that he perhaps reminds him of himself.
The former Heisman Trophy winner had a brief moment where he embraced Pavia before the game was officially over, and when the clock hit zero, the senior quarterback engaged in a heated confrontation with a Tide fan when leaving the field.
Pavia responded to the fan, repeatedly shouting, ‘I do whatever the f*** I want.’
These moments are probably not going to paint this Vanderbilt team in a good light, but at least one positive interaction took place on the field after the game.
As he made his exit, Manziel walked up to Alabama’s Ty Simpson and gave him a compliment before strutting off with a game ball.
Alabama’s next game will be on the road against Missouri.
