Alabama feels Thompson 4-Star QB has tools needed to be successful in Tuscaloosa

Trent Seaborn made it back to Tuscaloosa for an unofficial visit over the weekend to visit with the Crimson Tide and watch them defeat Vanderbilt.

Seaborn is a 2027 four-star quarterback out of Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama. His offer list includes offers from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, South Carolina and others. The junior feels his return visit to Tuscaloosa was a great one.

“It was awesome as usual,” Seaborn told Touchdown Alabama. “Great to spend time with the coaches and staff and a great game and win too.”

Alabama’s head coach Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide’s offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb spent time with Seaborn during his visit. Contact between all of them has been routine as of late and so has Alabama’s message to Seaborn.

“It’s pretty consistent, just with how excited they were to get me back over there and how excited they would be to coach me and have me be a part of their goal to win a National Championship,” Seaborn said. “They see my skillset and what I do at Thompson as very consistent with what they do and the skills their quarterbacks have to have to be successful.”

Seaborn is throwing the football in a decisive manner during the 2025 high school football season. It is hard to find a quarterback who shows more command of an offense than Seaborn does for the Warriors.
