Former Alabama football and current Detroit Lions’ defensive back, Brian Branch took a swing at Chiefs wide receiver, JuJu Smith-Schuster, after their Sunday-night game.
Branch admitted he was frustrated after the game due to the referees missing an illegal block on him late in the game while accepting responsibility for his actions.
“They be trying to bully me out there,” Branch said. “Should have never did it. It was childish.”
The Lions’ head coach Dan Campbell called Branch’s actions unacceptable.
“I love Brian Branch but what he did is inexcusable,” Campbell said. “And it’s not gonna be accepted here.”
