Elite Alabama RB commit tells why he shut down his recruitment

Alabama football’s running back commit, Ezavier Crowell is 100 percent locked in with the Crimson Tide and is not considering any other programs after shutting down his recruitment.

The elite running back out of Jackson High School in Alabama has been committed to the Tide since June. He recently shuts down his commitment and told Touchdown Alabama contributor reporter, Larry Rudolph, why he decided to do so.

“Being an Alabama fan my whole life and getting an offer and then committing, it just means a lot to me,” Crowell said. “I got a good relationship with coach (Kalen) DeBoer, coach (Ryan) Grubb, Coach G (Robert Gillespie). Get there in January, and work hard. Hopefully, I can start as a freshman. If not, I can learn from the veteran guys.”

Crowell is one of the most complete running backs in the 2026 recruiting class. He has great vision, is a tough runner, can catch the football out of the backfield and can explode for big runs.

The Crimson Tide are lucky to have Crowell locked in.
