Ole Miss head football coach Lane Kiffin is happy his former boss and legendary head coach Nick Saban will not be returning to coaching.
Saban’s wife Terry Saban shut down any possibility of Saban returning to the sidelines Saturday on ESPN College Gameday by stating the happily married couple is enjoying retirement.
“I have no doubt if Nick wanted to go back to coaching, he could win his eighth national championship,” Miss Terry said. “But we’re having too much fun, and we wouldn’t want to take that opportunity away from all of our baby coaches. Like Kirby and Lane.”
Kiffin was excited to hear those words, and he showed his excitement on X.
