Nick Saban revealed he would be feeling anxious if he were preparing Alabama football to take on South Carolina Saturday on the road.
No. 4 Alabama will be taking on an unranked South Carolina team. This one has all the makings of a trap game, and Saban knows it
“If I was a coach at Alabama right now, I would be really nervous about going to South Carolina,” Saban said on ESPN’s College Gameday. “LaNorris Sellers is a guy that can make plays. So, that’s going to challenge Alabama’s defense. But the key is can Alabama control the game and control the line of scrimmage on offense? They struggled to run the ball consistently. They’ve had a great passing game. I think their receivers against the secondary is probably an advantage for them if they can block Dylan Stewart, who is a great pass rusher.”
Alabama has won four straight games against ranked opponents
The Tide will look to continue to roll Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CST.
