Pair of Alabama defensive starters expected to be game-time decisions for Oklahoma game

Alabama linebacker Qua Russaw and defensive back DaShawn Jones are expected to be game-time decisions against Oklahoma, according to On3.

A foot injury has kept Russaw sidelined since the Georgia game. It will be interesting to see how Russaw works back in at the wolf linebacker position because Yhonzae Pierre has been on fire lately.

Earlier on Wednesday, DeBoer shared that the team is “unsure” if Russaw will play Saturday, saying that “we’ll just see how he feels here the rest of the week.”

Jones showed up on the availability report Wednesday as he is listed as probable. Jones is the Crimson Tide’s main starter at the husky position and has racked up 16 tackles and a pick-six this season.
