Alabama football’s redshirt freshman wolf linebacker, Noah Carter is trending in the right direction as a contributor for the Crimson Tide.

Carter has seen an uptick in meaningful snaps since providing depth on the Tide’s defense against Missouri. While he has not made what many would consider big plays, he has flashed his athleticism and his ability to make tackles in space in the Tide’s last few games.

Alabama’s defensive lineman, LT Overton has noticed a more locked in Carter as of late.

“Just more keying in on details in that playbook more and just real laser focus on what his job and assignment is and getting to that ball,” Overton said.

Carter’s teammates have been complimentary of his game in the past. Fellow Wolf linebacker, Qua Russaw discussed the explosiveness of the former four-star before the season started.

“He’s got a fast get-off,” Russaw said. “When he gets going, he can go. Him, he brings energy to the room too, you see him all the time just yelling and saying ‘Let’s go,’ and stuff like that.”

Similar to last season, Alabama football’s defense is getting better as the season progresses. Having Carter as a dependable piece as an edge-rusher is a plus fo rthe Tide.
