Alabama football is currently leading the Auburn Tigers 17-6 at halftime.

Here is what the Crimson Tide needs to do to close this one out against the Tigers:

– Keep Defense Flying Around

Alabama football’s defense was flying all around in the first half against the Tigers as Auburn struggled to gain a rhythm in the pass and run game.

– Create Some Explosive Offensive Plays

Ty Simpson missed on a deep shot to Germie Bernard that could have helped the Tide have an even bigger lead in this one. With the way the Auburn offense is playing on the opposite side of the ball, Alabama should be able to create some separation by connecting on a few explosive plays.

– Contain Auburn QB Ashton Daniels On The Ground

Ashton Daniels began to open the Auburn offense up in the second quarter with his running ability. The Crimson Tide can not let this continue. When Alabama has him wrapped up, the Tigers’ defense struggled.

– Build On Rhythm Of Run Game

Alabama football’s rushing attack is playing with a solid rhythm with 98 yards on the gound. Running the football can help Alabama continue to dominate time of possession in this one and control the pace of the game.
