Alabama football moved up to No. 9 in the College Football Playoff Top 25 after beating Auburn.
The Crimson Tide jumped Notre Dame, and Alabama is projected to take on Oklahoma in the first round of the playoff. The winner of the game would take on Ohio State.
Alabama now may have some wiggle room to lose in the SEC Championship game with this move.
Alabama will take on Georgia in the SEC Championship game on Saturday.
