Alabama football trails the Georgia Bulldogs at halftime in the SEC Championship.

Here is what the Crimson Tide need to do in the second half:

– Get offense to wake up

Alabama football’s offense was sleepwalking into this one, and the Georgia Bulldogs took advantage. The Tide needs to build a consistent rhythm on all fronts in the second half. Play calling and execution of the offense left a lot to be desired.

– Put pressure on Gunner Stockton

Georgia is moving the pocket and even when they did not, Alabama has not been able to get pressure on the Georgia quarterback. The Bulldogs quarterback is making Alabama pay as a result.

– Match Georgia intensity in the trenches when the Bulldog offense on the field.

Georgia’s offensive line got the best of the Tide’s defensive front in the first half. Alabama’s defensive front needs to bow up.

– Alabama depth pieces need to step up

Alabama football is missing its injured players. Josh Cuevas, who has been a reliable target at tight end, looks to be really missed. No Alabama tight end has pulled in a reception in this one. Alabama’s run game is nonexistent.

– Stop Giving Georgia Breaks

Alabama football has handed Georgia field position twice to put points on the board, once a blocked punt and once a Ty Simpson interception.
