Two Alabama defensive players got dinged up in the Crimson Tide’s 34-24 victory over Oklahoma.

Defensive lineman Tim Keenan III was slow to get up after the officials reversed an Oklahoma fumble to an incomplete pass. Defensive back Red Morgan was down after an Alabama punt return. Both were helped off the field by trainers and taken into the medical tent late in the game.

During an interview with ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt, commentator Chris Fowler shared an injury update provided by sideline reporter Holly Rowe.

According to the report, Keenan and Morgan could have come back into the game if needed. This is great news for a team like Alabama because the injury bug has been some of the Crimson Tide’s top talent this season, especially later in the year.

Alabama does not play again until Jan. 1, so the Crimson Tide will have nearly two weeks to recover and prepare for Indiana.
