Alabama football’s defensive lineman, LT Overton was sidelined for the second straight game when he missed the Crimson Tide’s first-round playoff matchup against Oklahoma on Friday.
Overton last played against Auburn in the Iron Bowl. He traveled with the team to Oklahoma, but he did not dress out. Kalen DeBoer provided the latest on Overton on Monday, and he shared he can not rule out the defensive lineman at the moment.
“LT, just continue to monitor, monitoring him, definitely not ruling him out right now, but we’ll continue to evaluate him and see how things go here in the days ahead,” DeBoer said
The Alabama head coach previously said Overton was dealing with an ‘illness.’
Overton has been one of the Tide’s biggest disruptors upfront this season. He has accounted for 35 total tackles and four sacks this season.
