Alabama football added a veteran presence to its linebacker room with a commitment from Virginia Tech transfer, Caleb Woodson
The Crimson Tide is losing three veteran inside linebackers to the NFL. Deontae Lawson, Justin Jefferson and Nikhai Hill-Green have plans to declare for the 2026 NFL Draft after spending their last year of eligibility with the Tide. Alabama is returning some young and talented linebackers, but they are not experienced.
Woodson immediately became the Tide’s most experienced inside linebacker when he decided to transfer to Tuscaloosa.
