Alabama football is among the schools standing out to Elijah Haven alongside Florida, Auburn and Georgia.

Haven is a 2027 five-star quarterback out of Dunham High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

“The main schools that have been pushing the most have been Alabama, Florida, Auburn and Georgia,” Haven told Touchdown Alabama. “It’s been great getting to know their programs and staff.”

The Crimson Tide hosted Haven for multiple visits during the 2025 season. He is eyeing a return visit to Tuscaloosa after the Tide lost their former quarterbacks coach Nick Sheridan to Michigan State. Haven remains interested in Alabama as the Tide moves Bryan Ellis to the quarterbacks coach role.

“We are still trying to sort out dates in terms of visits,” Haven said. “Bama is still a great program that my family and I are interested in, but it is hard to see coach Sheridan leave.”

The five-star threw for 3,931 yards and 62 touchdowns during the 2025 season. He also added 794 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns en route to leading Dunham to a state championship.

The 6-foot-4 signal caller is an effortless thrower of the football who can make all of the throws. He is also an athlete, and his ability to pick up yards with his feet puts that on display.

Alabama currently has a commitment from one 2027 quarterback in Trent Seaborn, but the Crimson Tide has made it clear they will like to add two quarterbacks.
