Jaden Upshaw put Alabama football in his top six ahead of him visiting Alabama for Junior Day on Jan. 31.
Upshaw attends Lee County High School in Georgia. The four-star 2027 recruit has Alabama, Auburn, Miami, Tennessee, Texas A&M and USC in his top six.
The Crimson Tide’s new wide receiver coach Derrick Nix was quick to get in contact with Upshaw after getting hired by the Tide. He re-offered the Georgia product earlier this month.
It is hard to find a wide receiver, who plays with more of an edge than Upshaw. The 6-foot-2, 202-pounder blocks like he generally enjoys getting physical with defensive backs. This, combined with his ability to be tough and explosive after the catch, makes him a talented wideout prospect.
