There are multiple schools standing out to Avrian Pauley Jr. at the moment.
Pauley is a 2027 defensive lineman. He currently attends McGill-Toolen High School in Mobile, Alabama. He holds offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss and others.
The Crimson Tide is among the teams standing out to Pauley. He is set to visit the Tide on Jan. 31 for Junior Day.
“I’ve always taken a strong liking towards Alabama as a program,” Pauley Jr. told Touchdown Alabama. “I like how they laid out their scheme for me and how they would utilize me in their defense. Alabama will forever hold a big part in my heart since they were the first big school to take a chance on me.”
Alabama offered Pauley in September and hosted him for a visit in October.
The Rebels of Ole Miss are also standing out to Pauley. He is high on them, and he loves the relationship he has with the Rebels’ staff.
“Ole Miss is another one of those top schools on the list,” Pauley said. “Ole Miss stands out because of the love they show in Oxford and how the coaches treat me. Every time I speak to any coach from Ole Miss, it’s like talking to family.”
Florida is also making a mark in Pauley’s recruitment.
“Florida is a school I’m starting to get closer with,” Pauley said. “I have been to Gainesville once, and I loved it. The atmosphere there was amazing.”
At 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds, Pauley has the potential to play multiple positions along the defensive front at the next level with his versatility.
