Brandon Lockley has locked in an official visit with Alabama, and he plans to be in Tuscaloosa for an unofficial visit in the spring.
Lockley is a 2027 four-star recruit, and he attends St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has official visits locked in with Alabama, Duke and Nebraska. Alabama’s inside linebacker coach Chuck Morrell is in constant contact with the Pennsylvania product.
Morrell visited Lockley in January.
“He’s always been staying in contact with me since he offered me on my birthday in August,” Lockley told Touchdown Alabama. “I’ll be out for spring practice on March 13 and my official visit is set for May 29-31.”
The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder takes great angles in pursuit of the football with the ability to make tackles in space. He is also comfortable in coverage while defending against the pass. Alabama sees him as a fit at inside linebacker.
“They see me as a fit with my versatility to play in the box and in space,” Lockley said. They’ve identified my strong areas and things I need to work on and continue to develop.”
