Pauley is a 2027 defensive lineman prospect, and he is considered to be one of the Crimson Tide’s top targets in the 2027 recruiting class. Alabama is making waves in his recruitment at the moment, alongside Florida, Ole Miss and others.
The Tide got Pauley on campus for an unofficial visit in January, and the visit catapulted Alabama near the top of Pauley’s recruitment.
“Alabama as a program has everything that I am looking for; great facilities, coaches that care and amazing trainers,” Pauley said. “They have put themselves high on my board.”
At 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds, Pauley has the potential to play multiple positions along the defensive front at the next level with his versatility. Alabama will likely play him at bandit or defensive tackle in Kane Wommack’s 4-2-5 defensive scheme.
