Former Alabama defensive end, Keon Keeley is feeling at home at Notre Dame after transferring from the Crimson Tide.
Keeley suited up for Alabama for three seasons after signing as a five-star recruit. He earned his most meaningful time during his time in Tuscaloosa in 2025 before he entered the transfer portal.
The Florida product is now set to be a contributor for the Fighting Irish, and he appears to be excited about his future in South Bend.
“Notre Dame has this atmosphere with it, and it’s something you can’t explain,” Keeley told reporters. “It feels full circle cause I remember when I was seventeen, sixteen years old, being committed here and the process that I had gone through, and so to be back, it’s like God’s plan.”
Keeley was once committed to Notre Dame as a five-star recruit. He de-committed from the Fighting Irish when Alabama and Ohio State made a hard push for him. He eventually committed and signed with Alabama as a member of its 2023 recruiting class.
