It is unclear if Tyler Henderson will carve out a role for Alabama in 2026 after a 1,000-yard season at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College last fall, but he looks to have aspirations of doing so.
Henderson is using part of his spring break to work on running routes. Mike Espy posted a video of Henderson training and appearing to work on accelerating and decelerating, which are important parts of being an effective route runner.

The Mississippi product pulled in 67 receptions for 1,202 yards and 12 touchdowns during his last season at Mississippi Gulf Coast in 2025. While his route running did not completely jump off the film while watching his highlights from last season, his explosiveness and athleticism did.
Route running looks to be an area Henderson wants to continue to take strides in.
