Alabama football extended an offer to Captain Munnerlyn on Friday.

Munnerlyn is a freshman at Williamson High School in Mobile, Alabama, and he is a member of the 2029 recruiting class. He holds previous offers from LSU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Oregon and others.

Munnerlyn’s dad played college football at South Carolina before getting drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the 2009 NFL Draft.

Earning an offer from the Crimson Tide marked a significant moment in the 2029 recruit’s recruitment.

“It is a dream come true, definitely coming from Alabama,” Munnerlyn told Touchdown Alabama. ” That’s always been my dream school since a kid, very excited to go up there again.”

The Crimson Tide hosted Munnerlyn for a visit on Friday. The visit allowed him to connect with the Tide’s safeties coach Jason Jones.

“It was very electric,” Munnerlyn said. “Their DB coach is a real good dude and can get me to the next level.”

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound is a rangy safety for the Lions. He flows around their backfield effectively and smoothly as he effectively covers a lot of ground while making plays on the football.
