The Crimson Tide has a complete team heading into Kalen DeBoer’s third season, yet fans want everything to be unleashed on the field. Scrimmage No. 2 was held on Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium and while the offense made some plays, the defense was hungrier.

According to highlights released by Alabama athletics via social media, there were several punishing hits made by defensive players. Dijon Lee, a sophomore cornerback, had tight coverage on wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams – creating a pass breakup. Jordan Edmonds and Ivan Taylor, two young defensive backs, each recorded an interception.

Keon Sabb, a third-year safety for the Tide, is high on Taylor entering this season. The players are having fun, flying to the football, and restoring a competitive mindset at each position.

A-Day is this upcoming weekend, Saturday, April 11, at BDS.
