The 6-foot-4, 225 pounder is starting to stack visits to Tuscaloosa.

The four-star attends Maplesville High School in Alabama, and he is a member of the 2028 recruiting class. He holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Ohio State and others.
At 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds, McCary is an athletic prospect, who can clock in a 4.5 forty-yard dash. While he shines as an athlete on both sides of the football for Maplesville at the moment, the Tide is going after him as an edge prospect to likely play at the WOLF linebacker spot. McCary’s skill set makes him a perfect fit for the role.
The in-state recruit is considered a hybrid linebacker prospect.
