Alabama football’s coaching staff continues to show they are prioritizing Antwan Jackson, sending him a clear message on A-Day.
“Their message was that I’m a big priority for them in my class,” Jackson said.
Jackson is a 2027 four-star edge prospect out of Tennessee. He is being recruited heavily by several college football programs, including Ole Miss, Missouri, Tennessee and others.
The Crimson Tide has hosted Jackson three times over the last few months. He made his way back to Tuscaloosa for A-Day.
“It was great out there yesterday,” Jackson told Touchdown Alabama. “The defense didn’t look too bad. They have some really good young guys.”
Alabama hosted Jackson for its scrimmage before A-Day, and he expressed he was impressed by how technical the Tide’s wolf linebackers played and the different ways they were used.
Jackson, at 6-foot-6 and 245 pounds, finished the 2025 season with 5.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss and seven quarterback hurries. He also accounted for 216 receiving yards as a tight end. Alabama has recruited the Tennessee product to play the wolf linebacker position.
The four-star is set to return to Alabama for an official visit in May.
