Isaac McNeil is feeling a push from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State and others as his recruitment continues to take shape.
McNeil attends Vigor High School in Alabama, and he is a 2027 recruit. He garners a four-star rating from most recruiting sites, and he is considered one of the top off-ball linebacker prospects in the country.
Alabama’s staff is working hard to land McNeil. He is coming off a visit to Alabama in March.
“The visit was great,” McNeil said. “I have a great relationship with the coaches, definitely one of the top schools I’m deciding on.”
The Tide’s coaches are high on McNeil’s potential.
“They are saying that I am a high priority for them and that I can be a strong asset to their defense in the future,” said McNeil.
Alabama will host McNeil for an official visit on the weekend of June 18. He is eyeing a summer decision.
At 6-foot-2 and approximately 210 pounds, Alabama likes McNeil as an inside linebacker. He made plays as an inside linebacker and while rushing from the edge during the 2025 football season. His ability to make tackles in space and close on the football with great speed jumps out on film.
