Alabama football’s General Manager Courtney Morgan was quoted in a recent ESPN article detailing the new world of college football recruiting.
Morgan shared the Crimson Tide are open to canceling official visits with prospects they can’t agree to financial terms with in terms of an offer.
“If we can’t come to an agreement, you just don’t bring them for an OV — we’ll cancel the kid’s visit,” Courtney Morgan said. “There was a big-time player last year, top of his position, we just told him don’t come because we couldn’t meet on the terms he wanted.”
The Tide continues to recruit highly-ranked high school prospects. Several recruits are set to make their way to Tuscaloosa at the end of the month to start several weekends of official visits throughout the month of June.
Alabama has managed to pull in two impressive recruiting classes under Kalen DeBoer and Morgan.
