Isaac McNeil’s mother told Touchdown Alabama that he is set to announce a commitment decision on June 2nd.
McNeil is a 2027 four-star linebacker out of Vigor High School in Alabama. He is set to choose between the Crimson Tide, Auburn, Florida and Georgia next month. Alabama’s inside linebacker coach Chuck Morrell is leading the Tide’s push for McNeil.
Morrell was in attendance for Vigor’s spring game earlier this month, with the Tide continuing to prioritize him.
“They are saying that I am a high priority for them and that I can be a strong asset to their defense in the future,” said McNeil.
At 6-foot-2 and approximately 210 pounds, Alabama likes McNeil as an inside linebacker. He made plays as an inside linebacker and while rushing from the edge during the 2025 football season. His ability to make tackles in space and close on the football with great speed jumps out on film.
