Ismael Camara has decided not to take any official visits this summer.
Camara is a 2027 five-star offensive lineman prospect, and he is considering Alabama, LSU, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M and others. No school will host him for an official visit in the coming months with his most recent announcement.
“I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all the coaches and programs who have invited me to take an Official Visit this summer, as well as the dedicated staff who work tirelessly to make these visits so special for players and their families,” Camara posted to X. “That being said, I have decided not to take any official visits this summer. The personal challenge I set for myself two years ago, when I got here. Completing high school in just 2.5 years to early enroll in 2027 demands my full commitment. I’m incredibly proud of the progress I’ve made in these two years. As a team captain, I got to be here for my teammates during summer workouts. This is my final season. Last year was my first on varsity, and we fell short. This year, we’re determined not to let that happen. That’s another reason why I need to stay focused and put everything I have into this.”
The Crimson Tide’s offensive line coach Adrian Klemm is leading the Tide’s push for Camara.
“I have said it over and over, Bama is Bama,” Camara told Touchdown Alabama. “In my lifetime, no college football program has been more dominant, produced more NFL top-tier talent, and won more National Championships. It’s not that I am saying something that is my opinion; those are just facts. That is what I mean when I say Bama is Bama.”
At 6-foot-6 and 344 pounds, Camara considers himself to be a physical and dominant force in the trenches but a nice guy off the field.
