Alabama football extended an offer to Ryquan Butler after he had an impressive showing while camping at Alabama on Monday.
Butler attends Loachapoka High School in Alabama. He is a 2028 linebacker prospect, and he now holds offers from Alabama, Tennessee and others. The rising junior feels an offer from the Crimson Tide is one he has worked hard for.
“It means a lot to me because I’ve worked so hard for it, but this also means I have to work harder,” Butler told Touchdown Alabama. “It is a great program from what I can see on the outside. They have produced multiple NFL prospects and created great men.”
At 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, Butler is an impressive linebacker in space. He takes great angles to the football and possesses the athleticism the Crimson Tide is prioritizing at the linebacker position on the recruiting front.
The in-state prospect feels his ability to make plays all over the field and his football IQ are among his biggest strength. He considers himself to be a defender, who can play sideline to sideline.
“I can play multiple positions, but my best trait is being able to dissect the offense,” Butler said while discussing what he feels he does well.
