Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith reacted to the franchise dealing his copilot in the room AJ Brown on Monday.
Brown was traded to the New England Patriots in exchange for significant draft capital.
When speaking with the media following Tuesday’s practice, Smith had a blunt response to questions regarding the trade.
“I mean, business is business,” Smith said. “I don’t got no say so in that.”

Smith played alongside Brown for all five seasons of his career, and played a major part in the Eagles Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2024-25 season.
He will now be the unquestioned first option for quarterback Jalen Hurts this upcoming season.
