Meet the Talladega 6-foot-5 8th grader attracting major college football attention

Caelon Morris is already attracting major college football attention after recently finishing the eighth grade.

Morris is set to suit up for Talladega High School in Talladega, Alabama, in the fall. He holds offers from Colorado, Jax State, Memphis and West Alabama, while several programs like Alabama, Georgia and others are trying to get him on campus to work out this summer.

The rising high school freshman considers his early success on the recruiting front to be a testament to his religion.

“God is great,” Morris told Touchdown Alabama. “I’m blessed to have the opportunity to display my talents and be a vessel for my family, friends and community to show the greatness of God. There’s nothing good that I have done. I give him all of the honor and glory.”

At 6-foot-5 and 245 pounds, Morris looks like a college football prospect set to join a major college football program in the near future. This, combined with his fluid movement and athleticism, has college coaches salivating over his potential.

The future looks to be very bright for Morris. The Alabama Crimson Tide is expected to get him on campus for camp next week. Several other programs will look to do the same throughout the next few weeks.
