Arab 6-foot-5 OL puts Alabama football in final 5

Stafford Willis put Alabama football in his final five after recently earning an offer. He is now down to Alabama, South Carolina, UCLA, Virginia and Virginia Tech.

Willis attends Arab High School in Alabama, and he is a member of the 2027 recruiting class. He currently garners a three-star rating from most recruiting sites.

Each school listed in Willis’ final five outside of Alabama has hosted him for an official visit.

The Crimson Tide will host the in-state recruit next weekend for an official visit after offering him earlier this week.

“Definitely getting around the team culture, just seeing how they operate,” said Willis when asked what he is looking forward to doing on his official visit to Alabama. “I’ve been to two practices, so seeing that was great, but seeing how the coaches interact and players interact outside of the football field is definitely important to me. Just continuing to build a relationship with coaches and players.”

At 6-foot-5 and 290 pounds, Willis is a physical offensive lineman who displays the ability to properly execute a variety of blocking assignments. One can see him executing effective combo blocks and continuing to find work at the second level of defenses throughout his film. Stafford also flashes some agility along with some impressive strength.
